Wu’s Cajun Seafood, the latest concept from Bottle Cap Group (All American Pub, Hot Taco, Whiskey Warehouse, Brazwell’s, Slate, Oak Room and Ink N Ivy), is targeting an early July opening in the old Nan & Byron’s space at 1714 South Boulevard in South End.
They describe the concept as “New Orleans meets Far East,” and the menu and decor are influenced by Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Korean cuisines and cultures.
The menu will include traditional dishes like gumbo and kale short ribs, as well as fusion dishes such as gator sushi. Their signature dish is a a build-your-own Cajun boil, called the “Wu” Boil, where guests can select from options such as crab, shrimp, or oysters. The drink menu will include draft sake, cocktails, wine and beer.
