Deedee Mills Bringing Two New Restaurants to Dilworth

Deedee Mills, owner of the popular Mayobird and Summit Room restaurants in Dilworth, is opening two restaurants in the new office tower at 500 E. Morehead in Dilworth. The building, which connects the Uptown, Dilworth, Midtown and South End neighborhoods, is located two blocks from the Carson Blvd light rail station, and is right next door to the Dowd YMCA.

The Packhouse will be a full-service sit-down restaurant and bar, and right next door, serving all day breakfast, will be Joe and Nosh.

The-Packhouse-696x210 The Packhouse’s decor pays tribute to Eastern North Carolina’s historic tobacco farm culture, and the food will feature creative bar food, as well as Southern specialties like N.C. shrimp and grits.

At Joe and Nosh, you can expect coffee and all day breakfast, as well as salads, soups and sandwiches.

The Packhouse is expected to open in late June, and Joe and Nosh in late July.
