The Daily Targets Fall Opening in Fourth Ward

Nightlife industry veterans Kevin Devin, Maynard Goble and Tommy Timmins (Connolly’s, Prohibition, Dandelion Market, Tyber Creek and Workman’s Friend) and new partner Andrew Curry (general manager at Tyber Creek) are planning a September opening at 214 N. Church Street for The Daily, an American taproom.

The 5,100-square-foot former Dillinger’s Tavern space at the corner of West 6th and North Church Streets has been empty since Dillinger’s closed in 2014.

The Daily will be a departure from the partners Irish-themed venues in Charlotte, with an American taproom feel. There will be a cozy interior space, as well as a large outdoor patio.

The menu will include bar snacks such as beef jerky, as well as creative appetizers (duck confit fried ribs with a blueberry BBQ sauce) and tavern favorites like pub steaks.
